David trusted God, led the nation, wrote songs of worship and received great promises. He also committed serious sins and lived with painful consequences. His story shows both human weakness and God’s mercy.

Shepherds guarded their flocks from danger and led them to food and water. David’s early work trained him to protect, lead and wait patiently.

Long after David’s lifetime, the royal family of Judah was still known as the “house of David.” An ancient inscription called the Tel Dan Stele is widely understood to contain this expression.

It describes the direction God intended for his kingship and the heart that returned to God when his sin was exposed.

God is not looking for a perfect appearance. He wants a heart that listens to Him and follows His will.

David learned responsibility while caring for sheep, long before he led a nation.

👑 A Heart That Returned to God
தேவனிடம் திரும்பிய இருதயம்
David’s life included quiet fields, dangerous battles, years of waiting, royal victories, serious failures and honest repentance. His story does not teach us to admire a perfect man. It teaches us to trust the perfect God who corrects, forgives and continues His plan.
தாவீதின் வாழ்க்கையில் அமைதியான வயல்கள், ஆபத்தான போர்கள், நீண்ட காத்திருப்பு, அரச வெற்றிகள், கடுமையான தவறுகள், உண்மையான மனந்திரும்புதல் என அனைத்தும் இருந்தன. ஒரு பூரணமான மனிதனைப் பாராட்டுவது அவரது கதை சொல்லும் பாடமல்ல. நம்மைத் திருத்தி, மன்னித்து, தனது திட்டத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து நிறைவேற்றும் பூரணமான தேவனை நம்ப வேண்டும் என்பதே அதன் பாடம்.
